Senior .NET/C# Developer with Focus on Azure Cloud

Location: Nieuwegein

For our headquarters in Nieuwegein we are looking for experienced, creative and analytically strong Senior Developer with a lot of experience in .NET/C# and Micro Services.

As Senior Developer you will be working on our own Warehouse Management System called "Maya" (for My Active Ants) and surrounding systems. Maya links more than 300 webshops to our eFulfilment environment. With this we relieve our customers by processing several million orders per year. In addition to these API-based links, we also use highly innovative automated systems in the various warehouses. The core of our total solution revolves around the 'AutoStore' (http://autostoresystem.com) , but we also use picking robots, Autonomous Moving Robots, fully automated packing lines, 3D cameras for sizing products and many more cool technologies. In one of our Scrum Teams you will work on optimizing existing and new modules. You also invent new applications and contribute to the further development of the team, especially in the areas of (Azure) Cloud, DevOps, CI/CD and process optimization. Quality is very important to us and therefore you get all the time and space you need to come up with and develop the best possible solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum HBO working and thinking level
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, especially as we are migrating to a Micro Services Architecture, using Azure functions, among other things: Azure Service Bus, API Gateway, Database as a Service / Datalakes, Azure DevOps.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience delivering enterprise software in ASP.NET/Core, C#, MVC, EF, Rest APIs, Web Applications and Distributed Systems Development.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience using design patterns such as MVC, CQRS, SOLID principles and Micro Services Architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with security best practices.
  • And as you can surely tell based on all the non-NL terms above: you must be able to communicate well in English.

About Active Ants

Active Ants is a fast growing E-Fulfilment company headquartered in Nieuwegein. In our warehouses we manage the stock for several web stores, ship their orders and process returns. We have mechanized much of our order process by means of our Autostore storage and order picking system, fully automatic packing machines and the goods run through our warehouse via fully automatic roller belts or robots. This makes our e-fulfilment services sustainable and reduces our footprint.

We currently have warehouses in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and England and look forward to conquering more countries in Europe with our E-Fulfilment concept.
